Miriam Almaguer
Miriam Almaguer has been a member of The Lariat staff since 2018. She enjoys dancing, teaching people how to dance, and listening to music. Video games have been in her life for the longest, and she still plays Kirby on her gameboy when she has the chance. She has been in the band for 7 years (trumpet). She served as president for the Korean Pop Club for 2 years and was the vice president for 1 year. She has been to regionals in powerlifting and was the 7th strongest girl in her weight class. Almaguer has participated in UIL Film for 2 years. She earns money by babysitting.  She does many things outside of school when she has time. She loves K-pop and honey buns and tries out new things when she is curious. When she graduates she wants to get a degree in film and dance.
