For the first time ever, Bethesda, the developers of the Fallout franchise, will release an entirely online multiplayer game. The Fallout 76 Beta releases Nov. 14, 2018.

Gamers that enjoy playing multiplayer games and post-apocalyptic games should definitely sign up for the b.e.t.a. or Break it Early Test Application.

Xbox One players will be the first to be able to play the beta. The beta will give early access to players who pre-order the game. The game occurs in the post-apocalyptic environment with real-world online players.

Fallout 76 takes place in year 2102 during The Great War, 25 years after the bombs fell in an alternate timeline in history during The Cold War with advanced technology. Technology includes robot servants, fusion powered cars and nuclear weapons that led to the downfall of America and the rest of the world. This event leads to the player going on a journey across the Virginia region where they can explore the ruins.

Many players of the Fallout franchise have become disappointed to find out the game will be entirely online. For Todd Howard, the game director, this allows creators to take Fallout to an entirely different level with a huge map of the West Virginia region that involves the real culture, locations, and legends from the area.

Fallout 76 brings the survival game to a whole other level. Whether you want to journey alone or with your online friends, our future begins.
